On Friday, May 23, Torre released a new episode of hisPablo Torre Finds Outpodcast, during which he recounts his investigation of infamous security footage that showed Belichick, 73, shirtless outside of a home. Torre revealed that the video was actually recorded at an Airbnb the former NFL coach rented with Hudson, 24, in 2023. The ESPN contributor then went on to share that he spoke to the Airbnb hosts, and they recalled their confusion upon seeing "an older gentleman with a very young woman who checked in the night before." Instead, they initially guessed he might've been a "relative or a drug dealer." Later during their stay, the hosts also told Torre they wondered if Hudson was "an escort." Shortly after the podcast episode went live, theMiss Maine USAcontestant took to her Instagram Stories to slam Torre, who has made several reports about the couple in recent weeks. "Pablo Torre's 'findings' have been nothing short of factually incorrect, slanderous, defamatory and targeted. Can y'all please stop giving credibility to this 'reporter'?" wrote Hudson. Her caption accompanied a screenshot of texts between her and an Airbnb owner, who sent Hudson a Ring camera link and asked about her "guests" and their "prohibited" parking, per information shared by the hosts' neighbors. The house owner said they did not charge Hudson a "guest fee" because they felt the parking was a "bigger issue." "I find it bizarrely appropriate, at this point, that Jordon Hudson would post that and then delete it," the journalist says, adding, "But to be perfectly clear: I stand by our reporting and the episodes we published." In addition to his recent deep dive into the 2023 porch footage, Torre has also been behind several bombshells dropped about Hudson and Belichick, who have a 49-year age gap. On May 9, Torre reported that Hudson wasbanned from the University of North Carolina football fieldand football building, though theschool shut down the claimin a statement obtained by PEOPLE. 4 first-year NFL defensive coordinators facing the toughest tasks

Some NFL teams need to get back to basics on defense, which could be why many of them hired a new defensive play-caller for the upcoming season. Some of it was natural with new coaching staffs taking over and some was due to talented coaches moving on. Regardless, here are a few defensive play-callers taking the reins in 2025 for teams that really need them to do a good job. With theShedeur Sanders prank call surrounding his sonin the rearview mirror, Ulbrich can get back to focusing on a monumental task ahead of him: trying to fix the Atlanta Falcons' porous defense. The Falcons have consistently been one of the worst defensive teams over the past decade and have tried to fix that by drafting both linebacker Jalon Walker and defensive end James Pearce Jr. in the first round of last month's NFL Draft. Ulbrich is the second defensive coordinator in two years for head coach Raheem Morris, who should be trying to do his best to turn it around considering the Falcons' front office has been stuck in the mud during this era of the franchise. The Falcons are a bit light in the front seven, so they'll need the expertise of Ulbrich and Morris to put them in advantageous spots. The Bears have a lineup of talented defensive players, but they didn't always play like that last season. Especially after they had their hearts broken by the Commanders on the infamous Hail Mary that was a turning point in both of their seasons. With, hopefully, a bit more support from the offensive side of the ball, the Bears' defense won't be in as many perilous situations as they were last season. Allen did a great job coordinating the Saints' defense even as the talent deteriorated over the years, so the Bears' defense should be in for a big boost with Allen calling plays. They'll probably need it as Caleb Williams and the offense continues to gel in their first year with Ben Johnson as the offensive play-caller. Staying in the NFC North, the Lions have had a defensive coordinator change as well after losing Aaron Glenn to the Jets' head coaching vacancy. For a team that very much still has Super Bowl aspirations this season, it'll be imperative that the Lions hit the ground running and get back to playing strong defense, which eluded them at the end of last season as the injuries piled up. Unlike Ulbrich and Allen, this will be Sheppard's first time as a defensive coordinator and he'll have the chance to imprint his name upon the Lions' defense. He got some reinforcements with free agent signing D.J. Reed, first-round pick Tyleik Williams and the return of star edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson from injury — the cupboard isn't bare, but now it's time to see what Sheppard can do. Here's another first-year defensive coordinator. For a team that just had one of the worst records in the NFL, the Jaguars have some surprisingly high goals for the upcoming season. In a division where any of the four teams seem to have a shot to win it, it's crucial the Jaguars' new coaching staff gets up to speed immediately. They're not really as barren talent-wise as one might expect for a team that's won as few games as they have over the past few years, but one of these years they're going to have to cash in on the talent they've collected through the draft. Campanile has a tall task on his hands, but with players like Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Foye Oluokun, Tyson Campbell and spurts of Travis Hunter, they'll have a good shot to at least improve from where they were a year ago.

As Irsay's daughter, Foyt will represent the Colts and the Irsay family at the marquee event, waving the checkered flag to start the race. Foyt IV, a former IndyCar driver and grandson of four-time Indy 500 winner A.J. Foyt. The Colts announced Wednesday that Jim Irsay had "passed away peacefully in his sleep" at the age of 65. The longtime Colts owner passed down ownership of the team to his three daughters, including Foyt. As two of Indianapolis' strongest sports institutions, the Colts and IMS have been connected over the years. Per the IndyCar statement, the two organizations worked together to plan the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis. Foyt is also related to legendary racer A.J. Foyt, a four-time winner of the Indy 500, by marriage. Casey Irsay Foyt married A.J. Foyt's grandson, A.J. Foyt IV, in 2009. The honorary starter is a relatively recent tradition in the Indy 500's storied history and serves as a ceremonial start to the race. Peyton Manning, the longtime Colts quarterback, waved the checkered flag in 2007. More recently, the honorary starter role has been taken by famous actors: Austin Butler and Jodie Comer served in the role in 2024. Shohei Ohtani has reached another milestone in his return to two-way stardom. The Los Angeles Dodgers star will face live hitters Saturday while the team is on the road facing the New York Mets, manager Dave Robertstold reporters Friday. It will be the first time he has faced hitters since undergoing UCL surgery at the end of the 2023 season. Ohtani has thrown occasional bullpen sessions for much of the season,most recently adding breaking pitches to his repertoire earlier this week. Roberts said he has looked good in those sessions, reportedly reaching as high as 95 mph, but the team is still eager to see how he performs as he progresses: "The stuff looks good. It's easy 94, 95 coming out of his hand. It's a really good throw. I think we're all anxious to see how it looks to hitters. When he decides to ramp it up it, I'm anxious about that too, but it's all on his schedule. It really is. When he's going to introduce the slider to hitters, when he really wants to ramp up velocity, all that stuff is between him and the doctor." Complicating Ohtani's return to the mound is his obligations as a hitter, where he'scurrently the favorite to take home a second straight MVP award. Roberts confirmed Friday the Dodgers still do not plan to send Ohtani on a rehab assignment as a pitcher because the team does not want to lose its MVP leadoff hitter: "Obviously, the build-up is important, but so is him taking five at-bats a game." When exactly Ohtani will make that return remains extremely unclear. He was originally supposed to be ready for Opening Day, but a torn labrum in the 2024 World Series threw off his offseason rehab plans enough that they spilled well into this season. Roberts said last month he was "still a couple months away," but said Friday, "I don't think anyone knows how the next couple months are going to look." The Dodgers obviously aren't going to rush Ohtani back, even if they need rotation help. His return would allow them to move to a long-planned six-man rotation, putting less pressure on a set of injury-prone arms, but they're already in first place in the NL West with 99.3% playoff oddsat Baseball Prospectus. The priority is for Ohtani to be all systems go when the postseason begins, hence why they don't seem to be fretting when he'll be pitching. As for the rest of the rotation, Roberts also said Tyler Glasnow had completed a successful bullpen session: "He threw today and I think it was 16 or 19 pitches. He said he felt great afterwards. Don't know what that means as far as velocity, but I know he was getting after it pretty good." His return from right shoulder inflammation also remains unclear. Starting pitchers Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki and Emmet Sheehan are also currently on the injured list, as are a plethora of relievers, including Blake Treinen, Michael Kopech, Kirby Yates and Evan Phillips. Rockies security guards found themselves on the wrong end of an interaction ahead of Thursday's game, in which they refused to let a Philadelphia Phillies player on the field because they didn't recognize him. The player in question was outfielder Johan Rojas, who hopped into the stands early Thursday to take a phone call. When he tried to get back on the field, Rojas was stopped by security. Thankfully for Rojas, Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler stepped in and saved the day, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic. An all-time moment this morning at Coors Field. Johan Rojas went into the stands to make a phone call. Security guards wouldn't let Rojas back onto field. They did not believe he was a player. Zack Wheeler had to fetch him. Rojas was likely at the stadium doing his pregame work. He was likely looking for a quiet spot to take his phone call, and decided to head into the stands to get out of the clubhouse. It was likely early enough that Rojas wasn't wearing his jersey, which probably added to the confusion once he tried to make his way back onto the field. In the Rockies' defense, Rojas isn't the most popular player on the Phillies. Even Philadelphia fans might struggle to recognize him in public. The Rockies' security guards were just doing their jobs. The whole situation is only funny because it's yet another mistake by a team on pace to break the Chicago White Sox's record for most losses in an MLB season. It's also far from the most embarrassing encounter involving a professional athlete and team security. In 2023, a security guard failed to recognize Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin, leading to an all-time athlete interaction.
